I'm Justin.
I started my photography career in 2021 with the Huawei P40 lite, eventually transitioning to the Canon EOS 2000D. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of a few big projects that gave me the confidence to fully commit to a career in Photography. Every project is a passion project, giving my utmost best every time. I strive to produce quality photographs that I am proud to look at, because that means the clients and the audience will enjoy viewing the photographs as well. I never pass up a challenge because challenges inspire growth, testing the limit of my camera and my creativity to the fullest.
From grass-roots
beginnings.
I was introduced to photography by a friend I met at college. He helped me take photos of myself, with his DSLR camera, for a school project and I loved the quality of the images. I then started to do extensive research about photography techniques and how to use a DSLR camera, even though, at the time I did not own one myself. With the knowledge I gain from my research I started doing event photography with my camera cellphone and thought that the quality was the equivalent of a camera, but I was horribly mistaken! When I finally bought the Canon EOS 2000D I fell in love and never used my cellphone for photography again!
Being a Karoo boy, I've always loved nature and its hidden beauty. As a child I enjoyed playing in fields and on mountains with my friends, and there was nothing better than that. My passion for nature was heightened even more watching nature shows with my father. Ever since I purchased my camera I have developed the habit of disappearing for hours on end, hiking and taking pictures of anything that I think has the potential to make a great photograph.
